Stephen Brown Visit
The Chief Executive of Slough Borough Council, Stephen Brown visited Ujala Foundation on 16th January 2023.
Chairman of Ujala, Zulfiqar Ali Warsi and Vice-Chair, Arshad Mehmood along with their team gave him a very warm welcome.
The chairman told them about all the activities of Ujala foundation for the community and informed them about the problems of the local community. Especially about how much support the community needs from the council, particularly in the face of inflation.
Finally Maryam Jeynes (head of Ujala Women’s Wing) told them about the women’s activities at the Ladies Coffee Morning.
The Chief Executive highly appreciated all the work done by Ujala Foundation and assured full support from the Slough Borough Council.
Local community leaders Chaudhry Asghar Ali, Chaudhry Mushtaq Ahmed and Raja Javed Kayani, Sister Kalsoom, Sister Mehmoodah along with Councilor Fiza Matloob and Councilor Nazir Ch were also present on this occasion.
