ABOUT US

Ujala Foundation is a Masjid and Community Centre located at the Manor Park Pavillion, Villiers Road, Slough, Berkshire, SL2 1NP.

As with every House of Allah and organisation that serves the religion of Islam, there are beautiful stories and events that occur at the inception point. These stories, inspirations and motivations create the path and infrastructure through which generations of Muslims of a community benefit from.

At the humble abode of Zulfiqar Ali, current Chairman at Ujala Foundation, Quran classes were taught to a small group of students. As demand grew for these services, the available space diminished. The need for a venue to provide quality Quran classes would therefore become essential.

Communications with Slough Borough Council and local organisations persisted and a venue was secured. Ujala Foundation registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales in 2016, Registered Charity Number: 1173297. In 2018, Ujala Foundation relocated to a neighbouring site: Manor Park Pavilion.
